ISO Certifications

1. ISO 14001: Environmental Management System (EMS)

Definition: ISO 14001 is an international standard that outlines the requirements for an Environmental Management System (EMS). It helps organizations improve their environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste.

2. ISO 50001: Energy Management System (EnMS)

Definition: ISO 50001 is an international standard that outlines the requirements for an Energy Management System (EnMS). It provides a framework for establishing energy management best practices and promoting energy efficiency within an organization.

3. ISO 14040: Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

Definition: ISO 14040 is an international standard that outlines the requirements for a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). It provides a framework for assessing the environmental impacts of products, processes and services throughout their life cycle.


Carbon Disclosure Project(CDP)

The CDP is a not-for-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts.

A CDP score is a snapshot of a company's environmental disclosure and performance. CDP scores are based on a company's disclosure of climate change, water security and deforestation information. CDP scores are used by investors, purchasers and policymakers to assess corporate environmental performance.


Certifications

1. BREEAM Certification

Definition: BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is an international scheme that provides independent third-party certification of the assessment of the sustainability performance of individual buildings, communities and infrastructure projects.

2. LEED Certification

Definition: LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a green building certification program used worldwide. Developed by the non-profit U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) it includes a set of rating systems for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of green buildings, homes, and neighborhoods.
